Travel Plan

Travel Plan - Macau

Day 1:

I will depart from Taiwan Taoyan International Airport, and take TransAisa Airway to Macau. I will have five days four nights tour in Macau .
After arriving in Macau, I will take a free shuttle to five starts hotel-The Venetian Macau Resort Hotel located in Taipa Island. I will arrive in Macau in the late afternoon; therefore, after checking-in, I will dinner at Imperial House Dim Sum for dim sum and other popular Cantonese dishes. Tonight, I will stay at the hotel to explore the area around on our own.

Day 2:

I will have breakfast buffet at Café Deco. After breakfast, I will start my journey.

Runis of St. Paul’s 大三巴
It’s17th century Portuguese in Macau dedicated to Saint Paul and Apostle. Today Runis of St. Paul’s is one of Macau’s most famous landmarks.

Section of the Old City Wall 舊城牆
This wall, located near Na Tcha Temple and the Ruins of St. Paul's, bears evidence of local artisanship and materials.

Na Tcha Temple哪吒廟
The Na Tcha Temple is a charming little temple and it is next to the ruins of the Cathedral of St Paul. Built in 1888.
It is funny you can see both the Western cathedral and the Chinese temple located next to each other at the same time.

Senado Square議事亭前地
It is also the famous place in Macau. It’s paved with a wave-patterned stone mosaic. Street is alongside with many European style buildings.

Loyal Senate Building民政總署大樓
It’s located in from of Senado Square. It’s the most outstanding example of Portuguese architecture in Macau such as symmetrical windows and repetitive pattern. Loyal Senate Building is not only the historical heritage of Macau, but its second floor of the building is the current public library.

Day 3

I will go to

Holy House of Mercy(玫瑰堂)

Lou Kau Mansion (盧家大屋)

Macau Fisherman's Wharf (澳門漁人碼頭)

Of course, I will try the most typical and famous snacks in Macau –Egg Tarts. Margaret’s Café e Nata is the most popular bakery. Coming with a fresh make cup of milk tea is yummy and worth to come.

After I come back to the Venetian Macau Resort Hotel, I will enjoy the facilities in Venetians. I will go swimming and do some work out in V Gym health and fitness center.
Day4
First I will go to the Macau Museum to know Macau culture.
As far as the thematic areas that The Museum of Macao features, they are divided into three main groups corresponding to each one of the three floors of the Museum building.
Genesis of Macao Region (floor 1)Where the territory’s origins are presented from the prehistoric age until the middle of the XVII century, the golden of Macao as an important Asian and European commercial port.
Popular Arts and Traditions in Macao (floor 2)This floor tackles themes which focus on ethnographic and anthropological areas, outlining the colourful socio-cultural characteristics of traditional Macao. Their rites and festivals, daily traditions, commercial activities and typical industries, etc.
Contemporary Macao (floor 3)Third and last floor of the Museum, presents the more representative aspects of contemporary Macao. Macao from the beginning of the century which is still fresh in the memory of the third generation population up to the contemporary city. A perspective of the territory near future makes up part of the final areas of this display.
ZAİA- Cirque du Soleil is another big attraction for this travel. I saw Cirque du Soleil performance in Taiwan during Chinese New Year. However, the seats were not good as we thought, and the view was limited and blocked by the tents. There is a located show in the Venetians Macau Hotel that I can’t miss this chance. I booked in advance and chose the good seats to avoid regrets. It’s really worth money. All 90 minute-performance was dazzling, and wasn’t boring at all.
After the show, I have to pack my luggage and take a rest earlier for tomorrow.

Day5

The last day of the tour is shopping day. From luxurious designers’ shops to local labels, shoppers can spend their whole to search treasury. It will be unforgettable experiences.

Dear Cathy
English is a very difficult language to learn. Spanish is much easier and so is speaking Japanese. But stick with it.
I used to teach outdoor education and I always loved teaching the kindergartners...they have such a love for life and curious.
Would it help you to write on paper instead of computer? I would love to have a postcard of Twaiwan for my postcard collection.
Just let me know

Dear Cathy
I taught farm education and nature. We taught city kids where their food and cotton/wool clothing came from. We would also take them for walks in the woods. My husband works there part time as a handy man

I love art and recently celebrated Van Gogh's b-Day with my family. A picture of my son Rowan and his sunflowers is attached
I think they usually give me many surprises and originality Kids have some of the best ideas and ways of looking at things.
I love any post card. it is a way to learn about the culture of the place
I will have to get a picture of me taken. The attached is my son.
If you give me your address I will send you some postcards
Would you ever want me to send you the front page of our local paper to read printed English?

My opinion:
After I read the article, I searched the film “Smile Pinki” in Youtube.
I feel a dull pain in the film. The children with a cleft have tragic destiny in developing countries. Brian Mullaney finds phenomenon, then he decides to change their life. After the surgery, the children with a cleft retake their smile on their faces. The Smile Train gives a child not just a new smile, but a second chance of life.
I think Brian Mullaney is a respectable person, because he not only brings the smile to cleft lip’s children, he lets more people know this topic for discussion through this film. In addition, he hopes he has ability to solve other medical conditions and brings smiles and new chances to worldwide children’s life.

What do you want to do in next ten years?

I graduated from the department of early childhood education , National Taitung University. Then I began a kindergarten substitute teacher in Hsinchu and Taipei. Now, I am the graduated student of Toy and Game Design in the National Taipei University of Education.

After I will graduate from Toy and Game Design school. I think I will be a kindergarten teacher again. I hope I can be a teacher in a public elementary school. I need to study hard to pass the exams, that I can stay one place to teach children and don’t move every year.

The reason I choose the work because I like children very much, I can use the knowledge of my specialized field to let children enjoy learning. This work need to pay attention to children every moment and deal with many details about children. But when I see the smile on children’s face and improve every day, I certainly think everything is worthwhile.
